I'm trying to start the easy routine but so far in having a hard time just getting them to drink a 4oz bottle in one sitting. It's been recommended to me to not offer them anymore until their next feeding time. So they start to realize they can't eat again for awhile so they'll start finishing their bottles in one sitting. I feel like I can't start an easy routine until I fix this problem..
Please help

How often are you feeding them?  Do they finish their first feed of the day?

I feed them 4 oz every 3 hours. Jaxson wakes b/w 530-6am for a bottle but doesn't finish it. Then wakes up around 7am and finishes it. Molly will finish the first bottle of the day but otherwise I feel like they eat/snack all day. Jaxson has reflux also

How old are they?

Is Jaxson on meds for his reflux?  It does sound uncontrolled to me...

If Molly finishes a 4 oz bottle, increase her feeds to 5 or 6 ozs and see what happens.  You don't want them to drain bottles - you want them to stop eating because they are full and not because the food ran out... this is not a full feed and will cause snacking.

They are 13 weeks and jaxson is on ranatidine(spell) my main problem is they don't drink the 4oz at one time. I just posted a new topic about this above. My mind doesn't seem to work anymore lol I forgot I had already asked this question. My post above is more detailed too.  Thx for your reply

So if they only eat an oz or two should I wait until their next feeding time?

Yes.  Limit a feed to 20 mins and then push as far as you can towards that 3 hr time before feeding again.

Which level teats are you using?  Could be that they need a faster speed as they are getting bored/tired using too slow of a flow...

How much does J weigh right now?  What is his current dose of meds?
