The recommendations here are skim milk from 2- but when i spoke to a dietitian about it she said it was fine to keep going with the full cream unless there was some concern. SOOO- i would say- YES! go with semi skimmed if you fancy it! But if you want then you can still go with full cream... Can you believe they are 2

Reduced-fat milks are not suitable for children aged less than 2 years: milk is a
major energy source in these children, who are in a period of rapid growth.
Reduced-fat milks are, however, recommended for older children and
adolescents when the diet has diversified.
