BT rotine for 2.5 yr old
« on: September 19, 2013, 18:13:55 pm »
DD has been fighting BT lately and I think its time to switch her routine up just a little. Any tips? We used to be able to put her in with her sippy and she would be fine but now that shes older I feel like it might nees to be adjusted. We like to do bath right after dinner bc of mess and weve found her baths would often get her reved up. I maybe should mention that she's VERY spirited. A silly question also is how dark do yall put their rooms? Right now she has ambient lighting that was great when she was younger but now I think it is too bright bc she can see all the stuff in her room...when.yoh close your eyes its fine but when you are awake I could see it being distracting. Shes our only child so I feel like maybe I have been delaying moving on to bigger kid thigs. She stil sleeps in her crib too. Sorry for the typos...short lunch + cracked cell phone screen=typos!!! Thanks ahead of time :-*

Well you definitely need to move the sippy so that she's not going to bed with it. My daughter is a bit younger but we do milk before her bath, then skin cream, nappy and pyjamas, into sleeping bag, then sit on mummy's lap for two stories, then cuddle and rock and sing a lullaby, then into crib.

I'd have the room as dark as you can.
