I've actually found a dishcloth wipe down in hot soapy water gets most of it off under the rim before the scrub. I think part of the problem is the bottles I use. (TT closer to nature)
No idea why - probably e ause our dishwasher is rubbish...but it doesn't seem to get off that film!

Hi
We're on neocate and after our bottles are finished with i put a drop of fairy in and fill with boiling water and leave until i have all then scrub with bottle brush in hot soapy water before sterilising.

Hubby bought me an awesome dishwasher when I complained that he didn't help out enough with the dishes
I no longer complain that he doesn't help with the dishes...lol.
We have Dr Brown bottles, so maybe the bottle type?? I don't know...

Also, we don't heat up the bottles, just give room temp. Maybe that could be a difference too??
