There's definitely a wind issue, but it coincides with him not pooing, yk? So yes, very likely gas pain, but it eases once he's poo'd -it's been a pattern for a few weeks, but he's usually gone by now.

Yes, he's ebf and no solids. And no, never had particularly solid poos (although some were quite hard when on gaviscon), but they were generally a paste/mustard consistency whereas this is liquid.

Tummy massage eventually settled him tonight.

We had improvement with colic and tummy calm for Ts colic/intestinal gas

Oh bless him. When C doesn't go for a while I don't half look forward to the mega poo explosion. I just pray it happens when we're at home!

There is this info on how a particular probiotic helps constipation in infants http://www.jpeds.com/article/S0022-3476(10)00385-9/abstract
This product contains said probiotic http://www.biogaia.co.uk/buy-online-uk-customer I have no experience with it myself but have heard a few other BW members mention it.
