Sleeping in our bed
« on: October 16, 2013, 05:14:47 am »
Hello, it's morning we woke up....all three of us in one bed! I fell so bad! Our DD is 14 months and a month and half ago she went to kindergarten, after 1 week she felt sickand in next few days her teeth started to come out. Everything together...too much! Because of her teething she was waking up constantly and as i went back to work (as a doctor) i needed sleep and was easier to take her in our bed. But she was sleeping in her own room from her 5th month! Before she woke up once a night i calm her down very easy and she slept until morning. I am afraid that she got used to our" together sleeping" and i dont know how to put her back to her own room for the entire night. Her teeth are still not out, but i can see them under gingiva... I put her to sleep in her room but around midnight i took her to our bed, i also give her paracetamol for pain. Ahhhh i have such a bad felling about everything, can you help me? Should i waint for theet to come out or should i start now?

Hi!

Teeth could take forever!!! Is it 'just' teeth that causing the issue, is she otherwise well? If do, I'd start now!
Given your LO independently slept before is usually say use WI/WO to get back in
Track but given that you've been co-sleeping GW might be the more gentler approach. How long have you been co-sleeping for?

Have a look at the link below and see what you think:

It should do given your LO has slept independently since 5m. It's just a new habit that I'm sure you'll crack in no time. Good luck and let us know how you get on.
