Yeh I did cold turkey with DS but had to admit defeat and go back to two naps until he was 15 months.

So.. Been at this nap transition for awhile. The wekeend came and we had a 13 month old nap transitioning, sick and teething!! Wow so fun.. So she slept a few days for 2 naps while being held for some. Now aril doing these things and been consistently napping 1-1.5 hr for her one afternoon nap.. Since the older one is in preschool I can't put her down on certain days till 1230-1.. Trying to keep things consistent so going with this time throughout the week.. She's been waking 730-8. I know it's probably too much waketime but kind of how it has to go now. Any advice, is this normal transition stuff?? Hoping for LONG naps soon!

Sounds normal to me, hopefully the naps will start to lengthen out over time. It's hard fitting things in around preschool etc but if you can get her down as close to 4.5hrs A time as possible, that shoudl help.

Still naps are short, an hour. And now with day light savings she's up at 530-6 crying and fussing. So tired of bad napping and sleeping and can't decide what to do.

She sounds overtired. Is she teething too? Is there anything you can do to help her catch up on sleep? What time does she nap/go to bed? Maybe she's not ready for one nap and still needs two for a little longer?

Yes teething also.. And a cold on top of it! I could try and put her down for a short am nap.. But I have a strong feeling that means sge won't sleep later in afternoon. Last night she was crying on and off for a long time. Fave get a pacifier which I don't usually do for sleep and went back to sleep until 745!

I'd try a really short - 20 mins - morning nap and a relatively short a time before pm nap.

I dunno maybe 5.30am wake up, 9.30-10am nap (30 mins), then main nap at 12.30pm. Worth a try?
Have you tried early bedtime too? What time is she waking/napping/going to bed?
