Hi. It is my dd's first birthday soon and wanted to do her an orange choc cake for it. I usually use choc chips but was worried about babies eating them in case they are a choking hazard. Does anyone have any views or experience with choc chips.

I would think in a cake, they'd be a bit melted once you'd cooked it, in which case I don't think it'd be a choking hazard. Sounds yummy!

Wouldn't have thought at age one it would be an issue - presume she has some finger foods, breadsticks, crackers, bread etc normally? She'll be fine
. Have a lovely party!
