1hr15mins naps long enough?
« on: January 15, 2014, 18:31:24 pm »
Hi there,

my DD naps usually 1hr15 mins when I get the timing right with respect to her A time. She wakes up happy from that. If she has 2 naps of 1hr15mins per day, is that enough for a 7.5 months old? I keep reading everywhere here that a decent nap is over 1.5hrs. I have tried to increase A time but then she starts having short naps, not worth it I reckon.

Thanks for the advice.

Hi Hun, typically a 1.5hr nap is restorative because it is two sleep cycles. So 1hr 15min is typically an undertired nap.
Typical Amounts of Day and Night Sleep

That being said if there is no NW and she's getting a good 11-12hrs of sleep at night then I would say I guess.
