Another option which I sometimes use, if R has woken early, I don't expect him to wait more than 1/2 hr in his bed so I rush in and turn on Mr Sunshine... so as to enforce that we only get up when he's up and make a big deal about waiting still. Perhaps DH could do that if he wants to get him up before the clock time?

What is probably a better idea is set the groclock say 10 mins later than he wakes and once he stays mad gets the hang of it shift his day using it YK? - what do you think?

Ok so I have been consistent with naps for a while now and he was going to about 6 but I heard him up at 5.35 this morning. We are potty training as well so what I do is get up taje off him nappy then get into bed with him till his gro clock sun comes up. Do you think it's worth trying a later bedtime? His dad has put him to bed later when I'm not there but it's never consistent enough. Currently going to bed at 7.45 and asleep by 8 at the latest

It's exactly as above apart from that he has been sleeping from 12.45 till 2. Do you think the nap needs to be cut down again ? Or later bedtime x

Bt is too late on a 1hr15 nap then Hun. With a 6am or earlier WU that's a huge day.
I'd be going for 6.30-7pm on that nap...until WU shifts :-\
