hi'
i have tried w2s before- doesnt work for him so much- either he wakes up completely ' either he sleeps  another 10-15 min like usual total 40 min and wakes up.
he was never much of a sleeper' i got used to that already' but the change in the routine- dropping the 3 nap is makes him completely out of  balance and cranky.

he doesnt wake up at 4-5 ; he wakes at 5:20 totally. thats the problem :(

i will try to early the bed time again an dthe naps.. will see how it goes
thanks

hi'
well after 2 weeks of the change in naps' i dont see a good progress. he is awakes at 5:15 ' but somedays he wakes up at 5:15 and lay quietly till 6. other mornings he screams at 5.
his naps still short usually' although twice a week he had a good ones 1:30 long. didn't see any pattern why it was longer at that days.
so :
5:15-6 wakes up
nap:9:00-9:30 ( 10 sometimes)
nap : 2 -2:40   ( sometimes 3 )
bed time 6:50 pm.

anything else i should try?
thank u

Hi, tricky little munchkin ;)
Maybe try pushing that first by 15 mins and leaving it uncapped then CN in the afternoon, see if LO prefers longer pm?

Just agreeing with Zoe, we had this too. I could never get the pm A right to get a longer nap. Tbh it worked a lot better for us to keep pushing that first A for a longer nap, then capping the afternoon nap. I think it works better when lo's have a habit of waking early to keep lengthening the first A slowly as it gives them more incentive to go back to sleep when they wake early in the morning.

I still think that BT could come a bit earlier again, maybe latest 6.30 if the naps have gone well.

Hi.  Didn't quite understand what u meant by the uncapped  cn.
I tried put him down at 9:20.  Still the same result.  But what do u do with the second nap ? Instead of 2 ? Should I postpone it ?

Sorry meant uncapped nap then a later Cat nap in the afternoon.
How long was nap? If it was short I'd bring pm nap 30 mins earlier and see if it's OT causing short naps.

That will mean an early bed time again Alisa. So if he wakes at 3, I'd out to bed around 6pm and see if he catches up on the missed sleep overnight.

Sometimes you get a longer nap as they aren't OT but like Kelly said EBT to catch up x
