Hello ladies,
I know this isn't a nap issue but I've had such great advice here and managed to get my catnapper / waking 1 - 2 hourly at night baby into a super sleeper!
And I'm really hoping someone may have had this problem too?
It takes the whole of 10 minutes to maybe 15 to get my 4mo to nap. During this time my 3yo is given instructions to stay in the lounge, has the tv set to the program of her choosing, gets access to her ipad, gets nibblies and toys. She CANT stop herself from running into the room to tell me something. Anything! Or she'll make loud banging noises, stomp her feet etc. This then wakes my little one and the process of putting him to bed can take up to 45 minutes with me going between the two.
I have a white noise machine and the door is closed. I have tried bringing her in with me but she can't stop talking. I have taken away toys, timeout and this morning I yelled so that's why I'm here.
Any ideas ladies?
