10wo naps
« on: November 18, 2015, 16:41:14 pm »
I am hoping to get some advice on naps for my 10wo.  She can put herself to sleep at night time and when she wakes up in the middle of the night. Naps are a different story. She seems to only be able to put herself to sleep in the crib when she has her binky in her mouth. When it falls out she wakes up and shh/pat just makes her more upset. She screams until I pick her up or give her the binky again. Sometimes it's too late to put the binky back in because she is so upset. I end up holding her through her whole nap. She is a pretty happy baby and does great at night.  Here is her current routine:

7 wake up/eat
8-10 nap
10 eat
11:15/11:30 nap
1 eat
2:15/2:30 nap
4 eat
5-6 cat nap
6 bath/ bedtime routine
6:45 eat
7 bedtime
10 DF
2-3am eat

I would love any advice you have!

At 10 weeks, I would probably just rush in and pop that soother back in her mouth :) If she can do without it at night, I don't think you need to worry about it right now. She will likely stop needing it for naps in a few months.
