20wo - too much sleep during the day causing NW?
« on: January 29, 2017, 11:58:08 am »
Hi everyone!
I'm not sure if I should post it here, because it's a bit complicated but I will give it a try:)
My DD is 20wo and our schedule looks like this:

WU/E - 7:30
S-9:30-11:30

E-11:30
S-13:30-15:30

E- 15:30
S- 17:30-18

BT-19:30

Our nights have became terrible recently - she has always been WU twice - once for a paci and once for BF, but now she started waking every 2 hrs, sometimes fussy, but usually happy and ready to a party, training her voice and waking up all the house. She is also difficult to settle after 4-5am BF.
Do You think she's having too much sleep during the day? Should I start to increase her A time? Or to shorten her naps? Isn't it too early for 3 to 2 transitions?

I would appreciate any help as I'm starting to look like a zombie and don't know how much longer will stand it :'( :'( :'(
ThAnk You!

Hi

I think you're right and she's getting too much day sleep which is why she's UT at night and awake and happy. Many babies begin dropping that 3rd nap at around 5/6 months so not too early.

Have you had a read of this? All about the 3-2 transition- 5/6 months
