Is my routine not consistent enough?
« on: August 11, 2005, 13:03:43 pm »
I've been implementing EASY for a few weeks now but we've never really had a consistent pattern-- sometimes we feed at 7, 10, 12:30, etc and sometimes it's 5:30, 8:30, 11, etc.  Part of the problem is that sometimes he won't BF well at eating time so he won't go 3 hours until the next feeding.
Should we have more of a set schedule?  If so, how?
It seems as though many of you know approx (or even exactly) when DC will eat, sleep, etc and altho I keep logs the times on them are all over the place!

Thanks for your help!

hi - how old is your lo?  my dd is 5 1/2 months and we have only settled into the consistent time over this last month when she finally went 4 hours between feeds.  short naps still htrow off the times often, but at least her feeds are at near-set times.  until this it varied day to day.
