This is my first post on here, and I'm delighted to find such a great place. I've read the baby whisperer book, and try to follow it's teachings...however my dear Xander has a mind of his own. He seemed to have his night time and day time feedings mixed up...so I think that I've got that mostly turned around...now however, he'll eat a bottle around 11:30pm or so, then sleep until around 5:45 am, at which time he talks to himself for a bit, then back to sleep (sometimes I'll go in a give him his pacifier..), then he'll wake at 8:00 or 8:30, but will not eat. He's only away for half an hour or so, and then he's tired again. He'll nap for maybe 30 mins (sometimes longer), wakes again, and still won't eat. Right now it's 10:40am here, and he still won't eat.
Xander will be 5 months old next week...he's also a very large baby and with my doctors suggestion have been slowly introducing solid food to him, but he had been eating rice cereal for approximately 1.5 months. He's 22 lbs and 27" long already. When I tried feeding him solids at breakfast time, he wasn't eating enough formula..so I stopped that unless I'm introducing something new. So now he just get's solids at supper time...and will drink about 35oz of formula per day...which I'm still not sure if that's enough for him.
