We have the same problem with DD and I just do it in short spurts during each A time.  Literally a couple of minutes until she really starts wailing.  I also sneak it in by holding her tummy to tummy and then leaning backwards in a recliner.  It's still tummytime cuz she holds her head up, etc., but she doesn't recognize it.  I'm sure this doesn't help with rolling, crawling, etc. but it's the best I can do without a meltdown.  I asked a while ago and others recommended using the boppy to hold LO up and placing favorite toys or a mirror in front of them.  My DD is really into sounds right now, so I distract her with noisy toys.

Just wanted to second what Casey said.  We used a boppy or rolled up towel, and placed it under his chest to raise him a bit.  As soon as he became fussy though (sometimes after just a minute), we would end tummy time, and try the next day.  Good luck!

jackson hated tummy time too!!  But eventually once he started to roll he didn't mind it...now he sleeps on his belly!!   One more way to get them to have a little bit of tummy time (besides usuing a boppy) is lie on the ground yourself and have your lo on your belly.  They tend to not mind that as much either cause then they can look at you.  I wouldn't worry too much about it though.  Once your lo becomes interested in rolling then he'll be interested in being on his belly. HTH.

Ditto for Samuel.  He HATED his tummy time, it would literally last only seconds.  Even now at 5 mths, he doesn't stay on it long before he's yelling to be turned over.  Just do it for as long as happy to build their arm/neck muscles, that's all.
