I think we need a group (((HUG)))

Hi Everyone,

I just wanted to come on and say YOU ARE NOT ALONE.  I understand how frustrating this time can be, short naps, no naps, dropping naps, consolidating naps.  It seems everybody on your street and all their friends have easy/angel babies that sleep anywhere, anytime for as long as they need them to.  Take a quick look around here and you'll see that there are plenty of other loving, caring, dedicated mommies just like yourselves who are working to teach their los to sleep.

It is not easy (pardon the pun), it takes patience, consistency and sometime a whole lot of tears to get through this frustrating time.  But you know what, your little ones will catch on and thrive for it!

So hang in there okay?  And lets all gather together now...........................................................

okay, a little corny but it seems we all need a little encouragement.

Just to let you know, moderators have troubles too ;) Ds only took one of his naps today, and has been a little monkey all day. We're all in the same boat, all doing the best we can.

Thanks for the encouragement, Traci!!  I surely would die if it weren't for this message board, I assure you!  It helps me so much to know that I am not the only one out there struggling daily with nap issues.  I thought I was the only one.  Like you said, it seems when you talk to friends, etc. that no one else ever has any sleep problems!  HUGS to everyone out there!   :)
