DR BROWN BOTTLES AND WHICH NIPPLE

My LO is 4 months old and I use stage 2 nipples on the Dr Brown bottles. The next size up is for 6 month olds. I'm thinking my LO may need this. Has anyone else experienced having to put LO's on a bigger nipple before their time?

I honestly can't remember when we switched sizes...   I'm pretty sure it was before six months though. I would try it out and see how it goes. I think the ages are guidelines somewhat as every baby is different. Some are quite voracious eaters and do better with a faster flow. I hope that helps a little bit... keep me posted!

I think I went from Slow to med before 3 months 

Wendy, you can only try it and if he gaggs and spits up then go back to your other teat.

Another thought;

If the one Liam is using just now is too slow, but the next one up is too fast - put a tiny pin prick in the one that is too slow and it will make it a little quicker.  Only try it with one to see if it makes a difference.

I had to do this with Calums fast teats recently, what a difference it made.
