Does Baby becomes dependent on Wake to Sleep for Naps?
« on: May 20, 2006, 10:10:39 am »
My DS is 12 weeks, and Ive started wake to sleep for Naps for about a week and it worked well that i stopped doing it 3 days ago. He naps for about 1.5 - 2 hours in the morning but the afternoon nap only goes for about max 1 hour.

He usually cries at around 40 minutes mark, i have the feeling that he is looking for the hand pressure on his legs and the shhh that i used to do. Will i continue doing it to extend his PM nap? Im thinking that DS my become dependent on it and cannot be able to extend his nap on his own.

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Thanks a lot for the info Stacy.

I will continue doing it for his PM nap for a while and see what happens.
