1 Hour Naps?
« on: May 16, 2006, 18:52:20 pm »
Hi-
my 5 week old son has recently started only takin 1 hour naps! He eats and i put him for a nap approx 1 hour after he started eating.. he sleeps for 1 hour and is wide awake after that.. which means he is awake for 1 hour before his next feeding... most of the time there is no way i can get him settled back to sleep again.. He fusses sometimes during this hour that he is awake before feeding.. and sometimes he is just looking around.. So im lucky if he takes three 1 hour naps and im even luckier if he takes a 45 minute nap at 5 before his bath.. and all this bad napping is leading to him not settling well or feeding well at bedtime.. im not sure what to do! Ive heard that crying peaks at 6 weeks i am hoping that means he will start getting better in the weeks to come.. ?? :-\

Sorry.. this is his routine

630/7am EAT
8 to 9 am NAP
10am EAT
11 to 12 NAP
1pm EAT
2 to 3pm NAP
4pm EAT
5/515pm to 6/615pm CATNAP -if im lucky!!
615pm Bath, Eat in bed by 7pm
