Package holiday and travelling with a 11 month old

Hi, Im thinking of booking a cheap package hol for us but am wondering what everyone else does when it come to travelling. Im worried about the actual travel aspect of it, when it come to transfers. We'll have our pushchair but what about car seat ? We always strap our LO in his car seat at home but what about when abroad in coaches and taxi's when travelling to and from the airport? Am feeeling a bit nervous about what to do ? 
Any advice would be welcome.

we go to greece in just over a week and so I have just been going through all this stuff.  I have bought a fold really flat buggy which can be taken right upto the plane and then gets put in the hold ready at the door when we leave the plane again.  We have rung a car hire company in greece and booked a car and also a car seat so that is all sorted.  We have checked that the transfer coach has seatbelts and extensions for babies (like the planes do).   And we will be totally avoiding taxis, they make me nervous in greece at the best of times let alone with a baby!!

My advice is to go with a really family friendly company and explain all your concerns and they will make sure everything is OK - remember that if you are within europe then the EU rules on child safety exist and that makes it easier to know all will be fine.

As far as the car seat/taxi issue goes, I would try to take public transportation whenever possible so you don't have to worry about that.  Find a specific taxi company that you're going with and talk to them about car seats.  I'm in the US so I don't know what the specific guidelines are near you, but it's pretty hit and miss around here regarding who has car seats with them and who doesn't, so it requires some homework on your part.  There have been a few other threads on this forum about traveling with a LO, so check those out for more general tips.  Have a great time, whatever you decide to do :)
