Sorry for the flippant answer.. but quite possibly you don't!

If your LO prefers bottles that are warm you may struggle getting him to take bottles that are cold.. same as a babe who prefers cool bottles might not want to take one that is warm.. they all have preferences..

If you really want your LO to take cold bottles rather than warmed ones you could try making the bottle a tiny bit cooler each day for a while so that your LO doesnt really notice the gradual change to cold bottles... and gets used to it slowly.

In my experience William would just not drink a bottle that was too cold for him when he was a tiny .. and still prefers them slightly warmed.. strange really as he will now drink cold water.. but not cold milk lol..

We did what Helen suggested...we gradually made Tyler's bottles a tiny bit colder each time until he started taking them straight from the fridge. He came to prefer them that way after awhile and still likes his sippy cup of milk to be ice cold. Your LO may take to it and he may not. Good luck!

Thomas refused to drink cold milk - If his bottle went slightly cool he would push the bottle out of our hands.

Even now, he will not drink cold milk.

What we do is fill up all her bottles way ahead of time with water and leave them on the counter so that they are room temperature by the time she is ready for food.  We tried to give her cold bottles but she just spit them out.  I agree with the other moms...do it gradually so not to shock his little mouth.  I am sure he will eventually get use to it.
