LO napping short because of rolling over.
« on: August 09, 2006, 17:18:20 pm »
My LO is 7 months old. PLEASE reassure me this short napping is temporary! He started rolling over yesterday, and his PM nap was only 50 minutes - one 30 minute stretch and one 20 min stretch. The last night he spent 45 minutes frustrating himself by trying to roll over in his sleep!  ::) Now this AM's nap was 30  minutes, and he's going all over the crib.

I just need some reassurance that he will get over this. Soon!

Man, I've been dying for LO to roll over. What was I thinking??  ;D

See this link about developmental milestones affecting naps. https://babywhispererforums.com/index.php?topic=64747.0

In DD's case, all new skills such as rolling, crawling, etc seem to affect her naps for 3-5 days until they settle back down. Try to give your LO lots of rolling practice during A times!

Thank you for the link! 3-7 days? Yikes! At least the grandma is here to help right now.

Happy Birthday to your LO tomorrow! Any special celebrations? Has this been the slowest AND fastest year ever? My LO is only 7 months old, and each month seems to go so slow and then fly by at the same time!  ;D I've never had so much fun while being tired, though!
