fussy naptime
« on: August 08, 2006, 00:13:15 am »
We've been pretty bad at having consistant naps in our home.  We've been tackling other battles.  So now's the time to nap in the crib.  My question is pretty basic:

My LO is not a screamer at nap or bedtime.  She'll go into her crib and cry a little but mostly crunt and sputter trying to get herself to sleep.  I try to give her plenty of time to get to sleep on her own but how long should that be before I go in to try to sh/pat her to sleep?  I'm always afraid that i will stimulate her to wake so i tend to let her go on for a while.  Does anyone have any ideas about this?

Thanks

Margie

Thanks Stacy!

I swear, it just seems like it takes her forever.  I wish it was easier for her sometimes.
