Anybody use a reflux sling?
« on: August 06, 2006, 18:54:52 pm »
I would like to stop putting our 6.5 month old in his reflux sling soon because when I go back to work in a few weeks, he will be sleeping in a pack 'n play without it.  I think his reflux issues are good enough now that he doesn't need it also.  But I'm nervous that his already poor naps will get worse and his good nighttime sleep will also be affected.  Anybody been through this and have an idea for transitioning him to sleeping without it?

I'm not sure but have you posted on the reflux board?

We never used such a sling but did use a sleep positioner to keep DD on her side. We got rid of it at 5 months or so when she started rolling and had a few tough days and nights while she adjusted but it wasn't as bad as I'd expected.

Thanks.  I'll post on that board and see what I can find.
