Hi

A very quick question, when do I stop mixing food with baby rice and give my lo just the food?
Lo is 6months old and been weaning for the last 6 weeks and eating well.

Many thanks in advance.xx

You can stop now if you want to if he is eating a variety of food then that is fine. Alot of people don't even introduce it to their babies. I used it for a while to help thicken my DD food as she suffered with reflux.

My ped and my local bfing clinic said to continue giving cereal if lo is bf'd. One thing my ped sees in los is low iron and 10 tbsps provides 100% of the required iron so if you drop the cereal just be sure that you're selecting foods high in iron. Just thought I'd mention this as I didn't know if yours is ff or bf, I think formula already has enough iron added.
