Wake to sleep and the older child
« on: August 09, 2006, 09:11:12 am »
Say, 3 yrs old?
Harry is driving me mad.  For the last week or so, he has woken up at 2.30am exactly. It can be for a number of reasons...because I forgot to give him a cuddle  ::) or he wants a drink (which is next to him) or because he can't see his hands!
Would wake to sleep help?
Harry: 29 July 2003
Lydia: 28 June 2005
Sam:  28 June 2005
David: 28 June 2005 - 12 August 2005
Daniel: 19 July 2007
That's all folks!
(Well, maybe another girl if I can convince DH!)

Hmmm. That's a good question Wendy. Harry's quite a character, eh?  ;)  It can't hurt to try!

I'd like to know if you tried it too, and if it helped.

Wendy... Once again Harry & Aiden seem to do things the same... Aiden's is more like 4am & it is "pull the covers up" " I can't find my coth (lovey)... I've kind of decided that since Aiden was born he had a "3monthly OMG phase" from 18mo that has been 6monthly & so having just turned 3, I'm hoping it is part of his OMG phase, as in the day he is "rather needy" too

No, I haven't tried. We've had a couple of nights where he's slept through (yay!) and a couple of nights where he has woken up around midnight, and the rest of the time there's no set time to his waking.  ::)
He can wake once, or he can wake every couple of hours.
I think I would prefer it if he came into our room - at least then I could deal with the problem.

Is he trying to compete with Sam and Lydia?  ;)

Well, they beat him hands down.  Apart from the odd night, they sleep through 7-7ish, although having said that, I bet I will be up tonight  ::)
