Sorry to jump in on your post, but I have been wondering the same thing. What if your lo is resisting the afternoon nap? My ds is right on staying up 2 1/2 hours in the morning and then taking a good solid 1 1/2 to 2 hour nap. But in the last two days, he has been up 3-4 hours before he will finally go down for an afternoon nap. Any ideas?
He isn't crying in the crib, just NOT going to sleep after I put him down. However, before I go to his room and do the wind down, he shows signs of being tired, i.e. crankiness and eye rubbing. (my lo is 7 1/2 mo)
