« on: August 24, 2006, 15:30:31 pm »
my baby is just over 2 mos and it just happened but the only way she will fall alseep (unless in a carriage) is to let her suck on my breast - she falls asleep immediately - she will not take the paci - how can i break this habit - i end up getting desperate b/c she is tired and crying but now i am the one who is crying - thanks for any advice

Zoeymom, it's surely not the best advice, but... maybe you should try different kinds of pacis and then your LO will accept one? I reckon it's better to keep trying with different pacis than ending up as a "human pacifier". what if you just won't be home when it's time for her nap? who will act as the pacifier then ??? ::)

my dd was very reluctant to take a paci as well, but after spending money on many different ones we've finally found the ONE and she likes it now. will only suck on it for naps/night sleep but that's definitely enough and works great for us :)

My DD has long been a thumb sucker but at 2 months the ONLY pacifier she would take was the Soothie.
