Long Afternoon Nap - Impacting Nighttime Sleep?
« on: August 25, 2006, 22:06:11 pm »
I have 4-month old twins (2 month adjusted), whose longest nap is usually around 2:30 - 3 (about 2 hours). I'd like to make the earlier afternoon nap (11:30ish) the longer one, so that the late afternoon nap doesn't affect nighttime sleep. Plus, they wake up around 4:30-5, and are so sleepy, it's hard to get their feed in.

They don't sleep through the night .. get p.m. feed around 8/8:30 and awake between 1-3 a.m. for feed, then again at 6/7 a.m. Oh, I can't wait for sleep...:-) )

Any advice, thoughts, on encouraging la onger nap earlier in the day??

Thanks,
Laura
