My health visitor suggested using tinned peaches as they are more convenient and the nutritional value is the same- the only thing I am careful of is checking each slice for little bits of the hard stone before I puree them. It's still much easier than having to boil them to get the skins off and much less messy  ;)

Thanks guys! We were at a harvest sale yesterday----got like 54 peaches for 10.00 and about the same for the nectarines. I guess I'll have a lot of peeling and pureeing to do!!!!
