All gone wrong! Help us please!
« on: August 28, 2006, 10:33:18 am »
My 15 week old daughter slept wonderfully until two nights ago, she has her last BF at 18:00 a dream feed at 10:30 and sleeps through until 06:30 - 07:00.  But we can't get her to sleep during the day now, it took 1.5hrs to try and settle her this morning.  She is a healthy  baby weighing 17lbs and is on the 3hr EASY.  I am trying to get her to go onto the 4hr easy but by 08:00 hrs in the morning she is yawning and ready for a sleep.  In the last two days she has been getting only about an hours sleep during the day.  Half an hour in the morning and half an hour in the afternoon, by the evening she is so tired, so therefore does not enjoy her bath etc.

I have never had to use the shh pat as she went down so easily before but have been trying it now for a few days, this does not work.  Have tried the PU/PD but she seems to get more angry and less likely to sleep.  I finally got her to sleep sucking my finger, as she will not take a dummy, she does let go of my finger when she nods of .  I have noticed that she is not breastfeeding so long either and I have to force her to go on again only after 5mins of bf.

We were doing so well, I don't know what has happened, it upsets me so much to see her like this!
