how on earth -- next sleep cycle.. 35 minutes ONLY!??! ahhhh!

for the LIFE of me i cannot get LO to get more than 35 minute naps.... HOOOOOOOOOW do you do it?!?! he is EXHAUSTED.. if i let him sleep on me (which we are trying to break completely!) he sleeps 2-3 hours!!!!  a few times ive been able to get him back to sleep and he will sleep for that long.. for example yesterday he went down at 11:15- stirred around 11:50 and i got him back to sleep and he slept until 1:15!! -- its just getting him through that i cannot figure out... if i do the wake to sleep he is AWAKE totally!! any help???  thanks so much!

yes- we've swaddled since 5 weeks old... he is breaking out of it at night - i must reswaddled 2-3 times a night! we have the miracle blanket... i just ordered a bigger blanket to see if we can try the aussie swaddled as he has been trying to suck on his hands too...

ugh!  poor little guy!!

It takes a lot of time to get them through the jolts - but they eventually get through them on their own. It sounds like you're doing a great job helping him though!

hey there  marisamom-

guess what-- he has been sleeping since 840- and its 10 now!!!  -- he woke up at 5am, ate, came in bed with us kind of slept on and off until 6 then was up -- he was exhausted but didnt sleep in the car (20 min. on the way to work) like he usually does... and was up until 830-- i fed him and he went down at 840!!

he should have 1.5 hours of A time or longer? (just wondering if being awake for so long is why he is sleeping so long now-- or maybe he is just working through it on his own?! hmmm) whatever it is, we'll take it!! yahoo!
