How to go from swaddling (shush-pat) to PU/PD
« on: September 04, 2006, 15:10:21 pm »
Hi.

I introduced shush/pat and swaddling when my DS came home from the hospital, it worked great, everytime I would swaddle him, he would fall asleep, naps and night! He's 4 month now and doesn't want to have anything to do with swaddling or shush/pat for his naps. I can still get away with swaddling him for his nights though.

1. Should I try the PU/PD for his naps?

2. How do you go from swaddling at every sleep to not swaddling anymore?

3. How long should a 4mos old go between sleeps?

Thanks a bunch!!

I'm in the middle of de-swaddling at the mo. We've got quite a good discussion going on the PU/PD board if you want to join in. Thread title is:

weaning from swaddle + fidget baby + pulls own paci out = pu/pd? Help!
