My LO is 9 weeks old and on a 3-3 1/2 hr EASY.  Wake up time is 7 am, bedtime is between 7 and 8, when do I start cluster feedings?

You could introduce a cluster feed now if you like.

If your lo is going to bed at 7, you could do a cluster feed at around 4:30, bath inbetween and top off around 6:30.

If you lo is going to bed at 8, you could do a cluster feed at around 5:30, bat inbetwen and topp off around 7:30.

I was wondering if you can help me with this...we are on 3 hr EASY.  bedtime 7:30 give or take 15 min. and wake-up also 7:30 give or take...df @ 10:30 maybe 11:00 on the weekends.  right now i give my ds a bath after his first morning nap and have always done it that way.  it just worked out where bath made a nice morning activity and he was so little...i was doing it in the morning before we established a bedtime routine.  now we have had a bedtime routine for a couple of months it includes classical music, dark room, night light, fan for white noise, cuddles, a warm, wet wash cloth for hands, face, head and diaper area then bf then crib.  our baby is bigger now and smellier  :-[  my dh and i would like to move his day bath to nightime but i am very concerned about this...wondering what it will do to his sense of time???? should i do it gradually???  i was thinking do morning bath (quicker) and add a nightime bath (also quick) and over time omitt the morning bath???? am i overthinking this? :D

I would not think it would be a problem introducing the bath at night time.  To introduce it slowly, you could keep it to a quick dip - roughly around the same time you do when you just wash him down, and then slowly start to increase it.

Bath time can become a nice wind down routine for your lo before bed time.  Start it a few minutes earlier than you would have done when you do the wash down, so that you have the time to be able to dry and dress, before your lo starts to get too fussy.

You could swap the A time and do the wash down in the morning if your lo enjoys it.

Good luck and let us know how you get on  :-*

thank you...i will do this today.  already did the morning bath but tonight i will start at 7:00 and then do a quick dip then continue with the rest of the routine.  our morning bath was real quick today too...it shouldn't be a prob.  i will most definately omitt the a.m. bath soon and then do the warm wash in the a.m. instead. ;D

we did not do the quick dip last night...the end of the day can be a little touchy...it's busy as far as dinner and evening schedule, but also because lo has only a short catnap that allows him to make it through the evening.  i might wait a bit to start evening bath...he tires so quickly and i think we missed the window on the bath last night and it seems harder to work it in at night.  i help my dd with homework, dh is home, etc. we'll get there eventually, keep u posted :-*
