yeah that makes good sense...thank you so much.... i really appreciate everything....sounds like you're at work......thanks for taking the time....

Emma's been sleeping since 11:45 again and sounds like she's about to wake so I'm off to get her bottle ready etc....and am going to try waking her 45 min after she goes down the next time....give her some awake time (bath massage bottle etc) and hopefully down to bed for 7.   I think a 7 to 7 routine works.....but I'll be happy with any routine at this point.. ;)

Thanks again......I'll keep checking here for updates on your lo and anyother suggestions.

hello....this is emrw mum back again...but I have changed my username...sorry for the confusion.

I woke Emma up after a 45 min catnap from 4:30 to 5:15 yesterday evening.  She stayed awake till getting fussy around 5:45.  I gave her a bath, a massage and a bottle and she was down at 7:00pm.  That was great!  I hoped she would sleep through....but she woke...this time at 3:30 though....one hour earlier than she has been doing recently.  She gulped down a 6 oz bottle and went right back to sleep after a bout of the hiccups.....do you think she just might be too hungry still to sleep throught the night?  maybey the other times were just a fluke?

how did your lo do?

CORRINE- i think thats great. I rather a 3:30 wake up beacuse then you DEFINETLY treat it as a night feeding. did she go back to bed easily after? what time did you wake her this morning?

my son went to sleep at 6 and slept till 4:30. i fed him and put him back to bed .I had to wake him this morning at 8 to start our day

so now we've been alternating days. one day 8-8 and the other day 6-6 because he sleeps 10 1/2 hours it seems. but i'm okay with it i guess

like i said, i rather him wake at 4:30 and treat that feeding as a night feed than him waking at 6. can't really treat the 6 am feed as a night feed. you know??

I definately know what you mean.  Emma went down pretty well after the 3:30 feed.  She had a bout of the hiccups but gripe water to them away quickly.  Then she slept till 8...and woke up all by herself.  I debated getting her up....but a late start to the day worked for us today.....

now she has had 2 naps one from 9:45 till 11:00 and then from 1:30 to 2:30.  she seems a little sleepy right now so i might try her in bed again before her next bottle which would be around 3:30 or 4:00.

I feel much more relaxed today...just trying to go with the flow.

I'll let you know how she does.

thanks again  :)
