Gas and Gripewater?

Did I read that someone here give Gripewater before every feeding?  If so, I would like to know details and how it works.  I use Gripewater and think it works well, but I usually don't give it to my DD until she exibits pain & gas.  She has gas quite frequently and it is affecting her sleep!

I think you should give it before a feed so that it gives it time to work and helps ease the stress of wind.  You can only give 6 doses in 24hrs though, so it depends on how often your lo feeds.
