ok Stacy, your advice has been invaluable in the past...can you help me again. I'm going to post my past couple of days.....any suggestions?
tuesday:
woke 5:45 ( goal 6am-so not bad)
nap 9:15-9:55
attempted next nap at 2, finally off to sleep at 2:30-woke at 3:10, couldn't fit in another nap so that was it 2x40min naps all day...probably overtired at bedtime, asleep by 7pm and woke next morning at 4:50am
wednesday:
woke 4:50am
nap attempt at 8:20, finally asleep by 9am---slept till 10
nap 2-3:30
...so early wake but decent naps, good night---woke at 5:30am
tHursday:
woke 5:30am
rubbing eye at 8:40, windown right away and asleep by 8:50, only slept until 9:20
now, when to give 2nd nap?
started rubbing eye at 12:45 after just finishing lunch, maybe I should have put to bed right away, but it was a bit early in the day and he was playing quite happily. In to bed at 1:20-----didn't fall asleep until 1:40 after fussing about and playing in his crib.only slept until 2:20pm, now we will be going for a walk to achieve a catnap before dinner.
so I am wondering if he maybe needs more A time in the morning...especially if he has a 5:30 or later wake? maybe 3.5hr?
less A time if he has a 40min nap? maybe 3hr 40 min?
