I'm not sure if this is the right spot to post but I need some insight. I'm not sure if she has some sort of medical issue or if it's just a phase of some sort.
My 7 month old is suddenly projectile vomitting, usually after her bedtime bottle, but it has happened after a morning bottle and once while feeding solids. It has happened 5 times in the past month, 3 times at bedtime bottle, 1 time after her first bottle of the morning and 1 time during solids. She is never fussy before or afterwards, and in fact, tonight, she was smiling and giggling after it happened.
It's almost like she has a very sensitive gag reflex. Tonight for example, she stopped drinking, my husband pulled the bottle from her mouth, and then went to give her soother (as usual) and as soon as it touched her lip, she vomitted. I even have to be careful when feeding solids to her, she'll sometimes not swallow everything and if there is some on her tongue, she'll gag herself and that's when she'll throw up.
Is this something I should see her Dr. about? I honestly don't see it being a virus/stomach bug or know if there is really anything that can be done, seeing as there seems to be no rhyme or reason.
