Hi, I have a one month old daughter and I would like to start her on the easy program. but in the mornings she wakes up usually at 6 or 7 am and then she stays awake until at least 10:30 or 11am. she looks around, picks her head up, I read to her, etc for activity. she dosen't start to yawn until around 10am. she eats at least two times in that time period. once when she wakes up and once again after her activity. Once she is down she sleeps well. also how do I tell what kind of baby she is? she has alot of gas trouble and she cries alot because of that. if she is hungry and she cries and shows signs of hunger and if you take to long to feed her, she really starts to scream. I really don't know how to go about starting the easy program with my one month old. any suggestions?
thanks, bonnie

Hi and welcome to the BW Boards

I would personally put your DD down for her first nap much earlier.

At the age your DD is now, she should probably be doing about an hour to an hour and fifteen minutes of awake time before being put back down for a nap.

Do you have a wind down routine that you use with your DD

Have you taken the quiz on know your baby?
