9wks trying to start EASY HELP PLEASE!!
« on: February 12, 2007, 16:34:43 pm »
My lo is 9 weeks and i am trying to implement EASY. The first day was ok
6:45 bf
7:15 nap
9:00bf
10:30 nap
12:00bf
1:00nap
1:45-2:00bf
then she stayed up for about 2-3hrs
she also wanted to feed a couple of times
5:30nap
6:00 bf
no nap
8:00 bf
9:00 bet time
11:00 Dream feed
1:30 wake up bf
6:00(wow this really works) bf
7:00 wake up BF

Now seems ok right well it has been 2 days since this pattern happened. yesterday was hell she screamed her self to sleep at every nap, wanted to feed every 1.5-2hours, and barley went 2 hours all night. is this a normal reaction to starting EASY? I mean at least before she was sleeping every 2.5 to 3 hours at night but 1.5-2hours :'( What am i doing wrong??? is 1.5 hours too much nap because that is what i was giving her. and when she is cring at night it is for sure her hungry cry she goes naya nayaa. PLEASE HELP??

she could very possibly be going through a growth spurt at the moment.
Sashas routine was all over the place until she was about 3 months when things settled down.implementing a routine does take time and consistency and they have so many changes to it as they get older.
i did notice that she has no nap from 5.30 until bedtime.thats a very long awake time for that age so she may be overtired which is adding to the night wakings.
have you had a look on the E.A.S.Y board?they have sample routines for LOs (0-3mths)
