Hi there- a little update-yesterday afternoon my ds slept for 1 and 1/2 hours /up at 3pm/-therefore his bedtime was at 7pm-wet down easy-but the night was terrible-up at last 10 times :'( / easy to use PD and went back to sleep) but then at 5am-he had a hard time to fall asleep, was moving  a lot and up again at 5.30-took him to our bed-oops-but I was so exhausted :-[, then at 6am-ds woke up and went down easy at around 9am.
For windown time-we usually  to our room /he still sleeps in our bedroom/ and we close the blinds, while I'm holding him I sing some lullabies and when he gets sleepy, I put him in his crib and I stay in the room till he i really sleeping. The holding seems to be working right now-and I know that's not the best option-but it's easierfor both of us right now. What else shall i use for windown time? It's like more I'm  concentrating on his sleep worse it is!Would it get better? ???
I pushed his bed time to 7pm as most of you suggested it.How much sleep does he really needs at his age? /almost 11months in 10days/

Jakab, If you compare your situation to two weeks ago, you've already came a long way.  ;) At this age they still need about 13-14hrs of sleep. I'm glad that holding your DS is working for you as a wind down activity. Just be consistant with the wind down activity.

The afternoon nap was 1 and 1/2 hour long /eventhough he woke up after 30min, but went back to sleep easily with PD-woke up at 3pm/ ;DS Therefore-earlier bedtime-before 7pm he was sleeping /the same think-held him for a couple of minutes as a part of the windown time before I put him in his crib/

That's great, it's sounding like he is getting the hang of pd! It took about 2 weeks here with him waking after 30 mintues and me doing pd until he is now (50% of the time) sleeping srtaight through. Hang in there! I think he is probably catching up on some missed sleep too, so some nights may be quite rough still. It'll turn around soon! Way to go mom, and good for you for not giving up!  ;D

Another bad night- he was up 10 times a night-I'm exhausted again! Not sure what's happening again-I moved his bedtime to 7pm, we worked on his naps-and still-waking up at night /the PD usually works through the night but into early morning 4am-he is up almost every 30min. End it up in our bed at 5.30am-as I was so tired. :-[ Not sure what to do  ??? -maybe I should post in night wakings again.

Are you feeding him in the night? What is he like when he wakes up then? I know my ds is still eating twice a night...he is 10 1/2 months, and drinks 8 oz twice a night still!  :o Even though he drinks 3 or 4 bottles during the day...I am wondering if part of it is being thirsty, what with the furnace on all night it is quite dry inthe house....sorry you had such a rough night, you must be so tired!

Jakub, I know your LO still sleep with you in your room. Same situation here.... Do you respond to your LO straight away when he wakes up or have you tried to wait for a while.

Litomi- well I used to,but now I do give him a bit of time,as I noticed that sometimes he just lets out a little cry and is not awake at all. The times when he is standing up in his crib I do respond with PD-it works most of the time

Springbaby-No he doesn't get a bottle of milk anymore-as he never drinks it -he just has a zip and won't take anymore. So I do offer him a water or fruit tea -when he can't resettle to go back to sleep.

The day wasn't bad. Ds-slept for 1 hour in the morning and 1 hour in the afternoon. Early bedtime again I guess-maybe 6.30pm.

Hi-thank you-it's so nice to see somebody cares.
Well-maybe a little improvement - still doing the same for naps-but at least it's working-I do hold him for 5-10min before nap /no rocking/ and when he gets really sleepy I do put him in his crib. He usually naps-30min to 1 hour and in the afternoon the same. His bedtime is around 7pm-most of the time he is asleep before 7.
The nights are still rough-he is up 5-10times a night-no change at all. Not sure what else to do. I gave up on writing and complaining all the time-I just have to live with for now an hope that one day it will get better. ;D
Thank you! ;)
