That is great Michaela!!

My night was pretty god but I think I get the worst mum award :-[  After I signed off here I went to check on Liana.  She was asleep but was stuck between her bed and the safety rail with her feet on the floor.  the door between the living area and bedrooms was closed becasue our kitten kept going in to play with her so I musn't of heard her calling out and she just fell asleep that way :( :(

Liam woke around midnight and I was in that state where I could hear him but my body wasn't moving :-\  He wasn't really crying but usually I jump up straight away so he doesn't wake Liana.  but as my body wasn't cooperating I just lay there and within 5 minutes he was back asleep.  so I don't know if that qualifies as CIO, I hope not!  Then he slept through til 6:30am.

so all in all a good night for me not so great for my kiddos, but I think they'll survive :)

I'm glad you both had reasonably good nights! Yey to both of you and to Khyan and Liana.

Janelle - there's been a few times where Ewan and Grace have resettled before I've managed to get up and get to them. I don't think that's CIO - I think it's leaving them to self settle. If they were still crying by the time you'd gotten up then you'd have gone in so it's not like you're deliberately leaving him to cry.

Hope you both have good nights tonight.

love
Marie

Hey - not so good !

I waited up for Sahria's DF and she wouldn't take it so I fell asleep around 11pm and she woke at 12.15am so I fed her and then Khy woke at 1pm so I walked him back to bed, him saying "I really, really need you" over and over  :-\  So I popped him into bed and then told him I would check him in a minute, which worked and he was asleep within about 5 mins  :) then Sahria woke at 3.15pm and was difficult, a feed was the only thing that worked for her at this time  ::)

Then Khy woke at 5am so I walked him back and he just wouldn't settle - he said "it's too dark" but it wasn't it was like it is every night ! "I really, really need you" "can I get up" "can I turn the light on" "mummy, mummy muuuuuummmmmmy " and singing !

I kept telling him I would check him but I ended up sitting in his room - I was SOOOOO tired ! and he just kept going until the light came on at 6.30am and I told him somewhere around 5.45am that I would not answer him anymore because it was night time but it didn't stop him talking  >:(

He must have been overtired or something anyway at least it's over and during this whole time DH was up with Sahria who was also being difficult.

Anyway tonight is another night

How was your night?

Well last night went great !  ;D

He went down alittle late but still on his own and then he next woke at 6.15am (saying his bottom was sore - he is alittle constipated and has been working on his poops for the last 4 days) So I went into his room and covered him back over and told him the light would be on soon (6.30am) and he could get up then - well he stayed there and I heard him saying " the light is on" at 6.30am so i went down there and gave him heaps of praise and a reward and we are all so excited

Now if Sahria could just get with the program too  ::) she is normally very good but has started waking abit in the last few days (ohhhh she still isn't in her room yet)

So fingers crossed that Khy is just a fantastic tonight  :)

Boy oh Boy are things crazy now !

I wish I had a second to fill you in but both kids are ferral and it's only 6.15pm  :o both are chronically overtired so I think I will wind them both down and pop them in bed alittle earlier ! hopefully this may help the 6 - 8 night wakings  (between the 2 of them)  :o

Will try and hop on alittle later and fill you in - but cross your fingers that they both go down well cos I'm at the end of my rope  :'( and DH is not here  :(
