Hi -
I know you're not supposed to worry a ton about naps this early....but my 15 week dd has been having trouble at night too, so i'm trying to see if naps have anything to do with it. We've been doing a 3.5 hr routine, mostly b/c of what she's doing at naps. This happens almost every time i lay her down. She'll sleep for 30 mins, wake up for about 30 (fussing, not really crying, i'm trying not to go to her cause it makes it worse)....then she'll fall back asleep for about an hour. I usually end up waking her up to keep somewhat in line w/ the 3.5 routine. But is this possibly a sign that she's ready to do the 4 hour routine since she's not waking for hunger at the 3.5 mark? Or is this just how she naps? I've thought for a while that she isn't ready for the 4 hour b/c it doesn't seem like she can stay up much past 1.5 hrs. So i've been assuming she's overtired b/c she's waking up after 3o mins...but maybe not...maybe she's just having trouble going through the sleep cycle transition. Seems like whenever i put her down she fusses and seems overtired, maybe that's just her nature.
Anyway, enough rambling, any thoughts??
Thanks!
