We've been going through a few days every so often where she doesn't nap.  Not sure what it is, but it stinks!  Definitely keep at it and he'll go back

He did another 3 hour nap today, but took AGES to nod off.  He was acting like he was not going to sleep at all, I was just thinking 'better get him up' and then he just conked out.  His speech is really coming on now so I think maybe he's finding it all a bit exciting and doesn't want to waste time snoozing the day away, but he really needs it.  I'll just keep putting him to bed every day and give him chance to sleep.  Thanks for all the support

Shay was exactly the same. The day he turned two he stopped napping every few days. He's not so bad now, although didn't nap yesterday >:(. I agree with pp, I think it is just a phase they have. He has got better which is good. So glad Ewan is napping again. I think the odd times he doesn't you just have to grin and bear it, try not to make to much of a fuss so he doesn't think he is missing anything. Just carry on as normal and don't pay him too much attention. He might get the hint it is a good time to nap cos nothing is going on! You never know ;)
