Waking up every hr after 3:30am feeding...
« on: April 24, 2007, 14:59:49 pm »
My son is 9 weeks old and has been on a EASY routine since he was 4 weeks old. He is forumla-fed. He is fed at 6pm and then put to bed at 7:30pm for the night. He has NO problems going to sleep on his own. His next feed (dream feed) is at 11pm (we have to wake him up for this feed). After that he wakes up around 3-3:30am. I feed him because I assume he is hungry and he does eat a whole 5oz bottle. After that he will wake up almost every hour sometimes less until I get him up for the day at 6:30am. We swaddle him. I don't understand why he wakes up so often even though he is tired...and I know this because by 7:30am he is dead tired and will nap very easily. Any advice or comments on how to fix this bad habit he is developing. I realize its habitual waking but there is no way I can put an exact time on each waking in order to fix the problem.
