Just Started Easy with 3 mo Twins, problems
« on: April 20, 2007, 14:31:50 pm »
We started EASY yesterday with our 3mo twin boys. They did really well, weren't very resistant and ate well. We had them eating every 4 hours before, but started them on the 3 hour EASY. We also started them in their cribs for naps and nighttime. I'm not sure if it was too much or not, but they both woke up at 12am and again at 430. Before they were sleeping from 9-1 or 9-3 or 9-5 at times. They were up every four hours during the night. Is this normal until they adjust to EASY? Or do you think we tried switching up too much too soon?

Hi and welcome to the BW Boards,

It can take up to a week before a good routine falls into place.

I would not worry about it too much, would just persever with what you are doing, and see how things go.  Were your lo's originally in a bassinet before transitioning them to the crib?

Please keep us posted on how you get on.

Hi and welcome to the boards!

I agree with Paula.

I was wondering though, how long were they on 4 hour feeds? Maybe regressing to 3 hour feed has messed up their internal clocks. If they were growing, happy and sleeping well on 4 hours then there's no need to mess with that  ;)

Can you show us what your day looked like before EASY?

Hi ladies,

Thanks for your replies. We are good now!Only waking up once during the night if at all!!! Must have been the new routine. :)

We are holding off for the cribs until we get the routine down.

I am pleased that things are going better.

Keep us posted on how you get on with the transition to the cribs.
