how to handle night wakings due to teething

my ds (5 mo) is teething and hardly eats during the day (ebf).  i've tried bottles, different positions, everything.  so i think he is waking at night multiple times b/c he is hungry.  do i nurse him each time he wakes at night?  (he does nurse well at night, when he is 1/2 asleep) i don't want to instill in him a nurse-to-sleep habit, but if he's hungry...  thoughts?

LOs often go on an eating strike when teething, because the sucking motion hurts. A lot of people feed at night when their LOs are teething, and it usually will not start a bad habit since it doesn't last too long. The trick is to not let them feed too long at night and still work at getting the daytime feeds in, so that you don't end up with a LO who thinks nighttime is for eating.  ;)
