Thank you all and hi again,

I'm running out of ideas now...

Our schedule for the last two days has been:

E: 8:00am
S: 9:30 - 11:30am
E: 12:00pm
S: 1:30 - 3:30pm
E: 4:00pm
S: 5:15-6:00pm
E: 6:00pm
E: 7:30pm
S: 8:00pm

She woke up 4 or 5 times each night, starting at around 11pm or so.  Last night we tried the infant tylenol at the first waking, but she woke up again before it's effects would have worn off.  Other than the night sleeping, she's a very good baby... naps are usually very good, and she's been very adaptable, but I guess this is the age when there is more awareness.

Though, now I'm wondering about this separation anxiety thing, since it does seem like she usually stops crying when she sees either me or my husband.  We've been trying to give her about 5 mins or so to self soothe, but it's not working  very often anymore.  I guess it could be that she was waking before and soothing herself back to sleep, but now when she wakes she wants to see us?  I will try the lovie... she already has a little frog blanket thing she likes to hug.   Is there anything else I can do to help separation anxiety?

The other thing is cereal... some people have been recommending that where she's 5 months old, but I wanted to hold off for now, unless I was getting a more clear indication that she was ready.  Though I've heard it's a myth that it will help a baby sleep through the night anyway.  Oh, how I long for the days when early wakings were the most I had to worry about!

Cereal wont help her with the night wakings and may in fact make them worse. It takes time for thing to settle out, as frustrating as it is (believe me I understand) try doing the same thing for a week or longer before giving up. Nothing is going to stop them short I am afread, but if your willing to put some hard work into it you can get it done.

Your LO is old enough for Pick/Up Put/down now so you can try that as well (check out the facts section for tips, or the PU/PD boreds as well.)

Your first 2 naps cut them by half an hour so they are 1.5 hours and keep the cat nap to 30-45 min, but earlier, and move betime to 7-7:30 PM, this will decrease overtiredness while also not having to much day sleep, right now your LO is getting a little to much daytime sleep, so small changes like that should help.

Ya, wouldn't it be nice if there was some miracle cure!  I know it won't get fixed overnight (literally!) but I was hoping to see small improvements to know I am on the right track. It seems like it's gets worse a bit better a bit worse and on and on. There are so many factors to consider... I think I am stressing myself out too much!

That sch looks really good. Keep up the good work, it does take patience and time.  Hang in there.
